Intercession lead by: Ps. Moses and Gugu Moyana
Ephesians 6:18 “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints”.
- Intercession is prayer on behalf of another. It involves the ability to hear the voice of the Spirit while in prayer and know what His direction is in that moment; therefore, when we step into the realm of intercessory prayer, it is also prophetic.
1 Timothy 2:1, “I exhort, therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all and men”; where the different kinds of prayers appear to be distinguished. It is good to pray for our nation, for other nations, for our world, as it is good to pray about issues in the community and our daily work, as well as the work of our church.
- It is good to pray for our needs, for good health, safety and peace. We should also pray for people to be converted. These include family and friends, neighbours, people at work. Pray also for gospel growth across our nation and overseas.
